Oconto County Trail Reports Oconto County ATV/UTV Trails Opening Weekend
Horses are allowed year-round on the trail in Forest County, except from the close of the snowmobiling season to May 1 (or when moisture conditions allow). In Oconto County, horses are allowed on the trail from April 15 through Nov. 10. The trail may be rough or soft in many sections and riders must share the trail with motorized vehicles.

The Oconto County area is the best snowmobiling, closest to the Fox Valley. Trailheads have been strategically placed throughout the County, located near Hwy 32/64 intersection, just East of Chute Pond, in Gillett at Zippel Park, in Suring near the Village Hall, and in Lakewood on Hwy 32.

At this time only Trail 7, the railroad grade, in Oconto County is open. We finished clearing on our southwestern trail system today. There was also a group that cleared Krake rd.
